Based on the major technological advancements brought by the acclaimed MPC-Live and MPC-X production stations, the MPC One Retro packs many of the strengths of its two predecessors into a compact, self-contained format suitable for studio work, all in a vintage cream finish reminiscent of the MPC's greatest hours.

Following in the footsteps of the popular MPC-Live and MPC-X standalone production workstations, the MPC One Retro shares the same multi-core processor as its predecessors, cleverly integrated into a compact studio chassis, giving musicians and producers all the power and flexibility they need for their productions. The large 7" multitouch color display, which allows for on-screen sample editing, is complemented by 16 backlit velocity and pressure sensitive pads in 8 banks for a total of 128 pads. The 4 touch-sensitive, assignable Q-Link knobs on the edge of the screen complete this exceptional interface for expressing your creativity.

A stand-alone solution for your studio.

The MPC One Retro builds on the strengths of the MPC-Live and X by being able to operate completely on its own, without the need for an additional computer. The computing power of the built-in multi-core processor, coupled with a large library of drum samples and loops, make it a perfect stand-alone workstation in the middle of your studio. Its SD card and USB ports make it easy to add new content without having to have a computer nearby.

Studio quality connectivity.
The MPC One Retro is designed to fit easily into any work environment with its wide selection of available connections. Numerous control interfaces, including MIDI inputs and outputs and a USB A port, allow the MPC to control compatible devices. The MPC One Retro also includes a series of CV/Gate outputs, allowing for simple synchronization of a sequencer or drum machine with the MPC. Audio inputs and outputs are provided by a pair of TRS jacks, offering the most comprehensive connectivity.

Sampler, sequencer and controller.
In controller mode, which allows you to harness the full power of your computer to drive the MPC 2.0 software, a true digital workstation with audio tracks and VST/AU plugins, you'll enter the wonderful world of DAW. For example, you can use the MPC as a plugin in your favorite production software and keep all your work habits, but this time with the power of the MPC. The MPC firmware and software is updated regularly and since version 2.8 includes Multi MIDI capability, allowing you to control all your external Midi devices from your MPC, making the MPC One Retro the real beating heart of your studio. The MPC 2.9 update brings to the MPC One Retrop the DrumSynth drum synthesis plugin, a powerful drum synthesis design and modeling tool featuring 8 individual generators and numerous built-in audio effects, to best accompany all your compositions.
