The Casio Privia PX-S3100BK is a compact, elegant, and exceptionally versatile 88-key digital piano. It combines a genuine hammer-action keyboard with an extensive sound library, accompaniment rhythms, advanced performance features, and modern connectivity.
Its 88-key graduated hammer-action keyboard offers 5 levels of sensitivity, allowing you to precisely tailor the piano’s response to your playing. The 88-key Digital Scaling technology individually adjusts the response of each note to more faithfully reproduce the behavior of an acoustic piano.
The PX-S3100 uses the Multi-dimensional Morphing AiR sound engine, which reproduces the tonal variations and resonances characteristic of a grand piano. Its 192-note polyphony ensures rich, full-bodied sound, even during complex arrangements or when the pedal is used extensively.
Highly versatile, the PX-S3100 offers 700 tones and 200 rhythms, along with an automatic accompaniment feature. It also includes 310 preset songs, a 100-type arpeggiator, automatic harmonization, and 96 registrations, allowing you to quickly save different playing configurations.
To further enrich the sound, the piano features numerous digital effects: hall simulator, reverb, chorus, surround, brilliance, and 100 customizable DSP presets. Two assignable buttons allow you to control various parameters directly while playing.
The PX-S3100 also features a MIDI recorder capable of storing up to 5 songs across 3 tracks, as well as an audio recorder that can store up to 99 songs of approximately 25 minutes each.
Designed for both home and stage use, the PX-S3100 offers a full range of connectivity options, including stereo line outputs, two headphone outputs, an audio input, an input for an assignable or expression pedal, USB Type A and Type B ports, and a connector for the SP-34 three-pedal unit.
Wireless connectivity is provided by the included WU-BT10 adapter, which supports both Bluetooth Audio and Bluetooth MIDI. The piano is also compatible with the CASIO MUSIC SPACE app, allowing access to various settings and functions from a smartphone or tablet.
Despite its many features, the PX-S3100 remains very compact, measuring just 232 mm deep and weighing 11.4 kg. It can be powered by AC or six AA batteries, making it easy to use at home, during practice, or on the go.
