Epiphone Hummingbird Tribute - antique natural
TheEPIPHONE Hummingbird Tribute (ETHBANNH) is directly inspired by the 1960 Gibson Hummingbird, a Dreadnought "Square Shoulder" that quickly became an acoustic guitar classic, thanks in particular to Keith "The Rolling Stones" Richards, with whom he recorded "Satisfaction", "Play With Fire" and "Under My Thumb".
It features a spruce top, mahogany body, mahogany neck and Indian laurel fingerboard (layered tonewoods). This traditional combination produces warm tones with pronounced midrange, but is not lacking in clarity thanks to the spruce top.
The Dreadnought body provides generous volume and projection.
These features make the Epiphone Hummingbird Tribute a versatile instrument for neophyte musicians wishing to practice different musical registers.
The laurel on the fingerboard is a high-quality alternative to rosewood. With its superior density and stability, its acoustic performance is comparable to that of Brazilian rosewood.
Designed for beginners, easy to play (short 24.75" scale, Rounded C neck profile) and very attractively priced, this is a must-have entry-level acoustic folk. It could even suit more experienced guitarists who need a functional instrument they won't be afraid to take with them into everyday life.
