The FENDER Limited Edition American Ultra II Telecaster (0179172721) solid body electric guitar is among the very best Fender models, excluding Custom Shop production.
It is a hybrid instrument—vintage/modern—that stays true to Fender tradition while also meeting the demands of professional musicians.
Its body is made of premium-grade torrefied ash, and its neck and fingerboard are crafted from torrefied maple (set with 22 medium-jumbo frets). The neck is exceptionally comfortable, featuring a Modern D profile, beveled fret edges, a 10/14" compound radius, and a sculpted neck heel for easier access to the higher notes.
In addition to giving the wood an elegant patina, the torrefaction process improves the instrument’s stability, sustain, clarity, and resonance, while protecting it from temperature fluctuations, humidity, and mold.
The combination of Custom Shop Twisted Tele single-coil pickups and the S-1 circuit (which activates the pickups in series regardless of the pickup selector switch position) offers a wide range of classic Fender tones.
Thanks to the locking tuners, tuning stability is guaranteed.
