The FENDER Limited Edition American Ultra Stratocaster solid-body electric guitar (0118012742) is a vintage/modern model in the Fender tradition, but also capable of meeting the demands of professional musicians.
The body is made of Alder and the fingerboard of Torrefied Maple, set with 22 medium-jumbo frets.
The neck is particularly comfortable, with a Modern D hybrid body, polished fret edges, a 10/14" mixed radius and a contoured heel for easy access to high notes.
Ultra Noiseless Vintage single-coil pickups combined with sophisticated wiring (S-1 switch doubling the possibilities) offer a vast collection of typically Fender original or more contemporary tones, what's more with no background noise.
In addition to giving the wood an elegant patina, the torrefaction process improves the instrument's stability, sustain, clarity and resonance, while protecting it from thermal variations, humidity and mildew.sustain.
