Gibson Parlor Rosewood EC (Baggs HiFi DNA Preamp) - rosewood burst
The GIBSON Modern Collection Parlor EC Rosewood (MCSBPRHFRB) is a modern reinterpretation of the popular original vintage models from the "L Small Body" series (pre-amplified, cutaway).
Its compact size, short scale length (24.75"), and cutaway design make it remarkably comfortable to play.
Featuring an all-solid-wood construction (Sitka spruce top, rosewood body and sides, mahogany neck, 19-fret rosewood fingerboard), it delivers beautiful, full, clear, and dynamic tones—rich and warm with full-bodied bass and well-defined mids—making it particularly well-suited for fans of fingerstyle, blues, or traditional folk.
The Parlor EC Rosewood is equipped with the exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA system.
The HiFi DNA system uses two pickups placed under the bridge plate instead of the usual piezo pickup. They perform recordings of vibrations from both the strings and the soundboard. The result is an even more natural and dynamic sound that faithfully reproduces the instrument’s original acoustic character.
Each Baggs HiFi DNA sensor has its own active preamp. The volume and tone controls are located on the inner edge of the soundhole.
