The Gibson SJ-200 Standard Rosewood features an all-solid-wood construction combining traditional woods: a Sitka spruce top, a rosewood body and sides, a mahogany neck, and an Indian rosewood fingerboard (25.5" scale, 20 frets).
It delivers clear, powerful, percussive, and glossy tones. The bass is full, precise, and responsive, while the mids and highs are well-defined with excellent articulation.
Add to this its Super Jumbo body size, and you get an acoustic guitar with impressive projection that will particularly appeal to singer-songwriters and fans of country, Americana, or traditional folk music.

The SJ-200 Standard Rosewood is equipped with the exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA system.
The HiFi DNA system uses two pickups positioned under the bridge instead of the usual piezo pickup. They perform recordings of vibrations from both the strings and the soundboard. The result is an even more natural and dynamic sound that faithfully reproduces the instrument’s original acoustic character.
Each sensor in the Baggs HiFi DNA has its own active preamp. The volume and tone controls are located on the inner edge of the soundhole.
