Hk audio ELEMENTS MK2 BIG BASE
The HK AUDIO ELEMENTS MK2 BIG BASE is a complete modular sound system from the ELEMENTS MK2 series, designed for events requiring higher output levels and extended low-frequency response. It is particularly well-suited for conferences, presentations, concerts, DJ sets, gala and Top 40 bands, religious services, and corporate events.
The system comprises two ELEMENTS MK2 635 column modules, an ELEMENTS MK2 SPACER, and an ELEMENTS MK2 115 Sub A active subwoofer.
The two ELEMENTS MK2 635 modules utilize a modular line array design to ensure uniform sound coverage and excellent throw. Each module incorporates six 3.25" drivers paired with six Phase Plug waveguides, offering 90° x 5° dispersion.
The ELEMENTS MK2 115 Sub A subwoofer features a 15" driver with a 3.5" voice coil. Its bi-amped Class D amplifier delivers 1,500 W RMS and up to 3,000 W peak power. It achieves a maximum peak SPL of 128 dB and offers extended low-frequency response down to 38 Hz (-6 dB).
The HK Audio SnapLock system allows for quick, tool-free assembly of the subwoofer, spacer, and column modules. Mechanical connection and signal transmission are integrated into the components, enabling rapid setup without visible cables running along the column.
The integrated DSP automatically configures the system and detects the number of connected mid/high modules to apply the appropriate filters. Flat, Contour, Voice, and Remote presets allow the system to be quickly adapted to various applications.
The BIG BASE also incorporates the HK Audio DSP CONTROL platform and Ethernet network connectivity, enabling system control and Milan AVB digital audio transmission.
According to HK Audio, this configuration is suitable for audiences of up to 500 people, depending on the program material, the venue, and the desired maximum sound level.
