It is a compact instrument, easy to play, perfect for beginners and travelling musicians.
Tonally it offers well balanced sound with generous mids, good clarity, and unplugged moderate volume.
The fingerboard is made of Purpleheart. It's a dense tonewood recalling brazilian Rosewoods.
