Martin Junior D Jr E Walnut - natural satin

With a body shape roughly similar to that of a 15/16" Dreadnought and a short 24.9" scale length, the MARTIN GUITAR Junior Series D Jr E Walnut is an electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar designed for beginners, smaller-framed players, or traveling musicians looking for a less bulky instrument to take on the road.

Its all-solid-wood construction (spruce solid top, walnut body), combined with a Richlite fingerboard and scalloped X-bracing, delivers the iconic Martin sound you’d expect.
The spruce/walnut combination offers a remarkable balance between the spruce/mahogany and spruce/rosewood combinations. The bass is present but more subdued than that produced by rosewood; the mids are both rich and defined; and the treble is warm rather than glossy. Overall, the guitar is powerful and responsive.
The fretboard and bridge are made of Richlite, a high-quality composite material that has been used in the aerospace and marine industries for many years—which, to us, is a sure sign of quality. It is primarily composed of recycled paper combined with phenolic resin, which is then heated to a very high temperature. This sophisticated process yields a material whose performance is fully comparable to that of ebony.

The Martin E1 preamp is both unobtrusive and fully featured, with volume, tone, phase, and a tuner.
