The Medeli UP805 is a high-end digital piano designed to deliver the feel, dynamics, and rich sound of a grand piano, while incorporating the practical features of a modern instrument.

Its elegant cabinet, featuring a high-gloss black finish, fits naturally into a living room, studio, or teaching space. Beneath its refined exterior, the UP805 houses an 88-key Grand Action 3-Sensor Premium Wooden (G3PW) keyboard, combining wooden keys, a triple-sensor mechanism, escapement simulation, and progressive weighting to replicate a touch remarkably close to that of an acoustic piano.

A touch close to a grand piano

The G3PW (Grand Action 3-Sensor Premium Wooden) keyboard was developed by Medeli to accurately reproduce the feel of a real grand piano.

The white keys are crafted from carefully selected solid wood, offering a stable and natural feel under the fingers. Their textured surface mimics ivory, while the black keys feature a matte finish that is pleasant to the touch and minimizes glare.

The weighting is progressive across all 88 keys: heavier in the bass and gradually lighter in the treble, just like on an acoustic piano.

Thanks to extended key length and pivot points, the keyboard remains comfortable and precise even when playing deep between the keys—a significant advantage for technically demanding pieces.

The escapement simulation reproduces the slight variation in resistance felt in a grand piano's action when a key is pressed slowly.
