The SKULPTSynthSE, direct descendant of the SKULPTSynth, is a true concentrate of technology in an ultra compact format developed by the brand Modal Electronics, famous for its high-end synthesizers and its Argon 8 and Cobalt 8 synthesizer range. With its 4 voices based on Virtual Analog (VA) technology, each with 8 oscillators, the SKULPTSynthSE is the ideal production tool for producers of electronic music, house or ambient music.

Ideal for producers of atypical and quality sounds, this 4-voice synthesizer with 8 oscillators per voice - divided into 2 WAVES groups of 4 oscillators with 6 types of waveforms - is driven by a Virtual Analogue (VA) engine, two LFOs (one global, one polyphonic), a 2-pole analogue morphing filter with resonance and three envelope generators: Filter, Amplitude and Modulation. The whole thing is controlled via a keyboard with 16 capacitive keys, 14 encoders and 13 buttons presenting a primary mode, doubled with a secondary mode that can be activated via a switch function, unlocking a second layer of settings for the oscillators, LFOs and filters.

But that's not all! This small, over-equipped synthesizer features an 8-slot modulation matrix, two built-in effects, a real-time sequencer with up to 256 notes and 4 animation bands which, together with its arpeggiator with built-in chord and transpose functions, opens up a whole new world for complex and exciting synth sounds. The SKULPTSynthSE supports MPE, allowing musicians to develop highly expressive modulations that are only possible with a real instrument like the SKULPTsynthSE.
