Palmer MONICON S G2 G

The Palmer MONICON S G2 G is an ultra-compact passive volume controller designed to provide direct and precise control over the listening level. Particularly well-suited for home studios, small production setups, and mobile installations, it simply plugs in between an audio source and a pair of active speakers.

The MONICON S G2 G features a stereo RCA input and a stereo RCA output, allowing it to be quickly integrated between an audio interface, a mixing console, or another line source and an active monitoring system.

Its large analog volume knob allows for easy and precise adjustment of the listening level, while eliminating the need to rely on a computer’s or audio interface’s software volume control.

A MONO switch allows you to sum the stereo signal to quickly check a mix’s mono compatibility. This feature is particularly useful for verifying the balance of elements and detecting potential phase issues.

Thanks to its fully passive design, the MONICON S G2 G requires no power supply. Its signal path remains analog and operates without latency, making it simple and ready for immediate everyday use.

Measuring just 86 mm wide and weighing 120 g, it fits easily next to a keyboard, an audio interface, or in a mobile setup. Its plastic and sheet steel housing ensures a compact and rugged design.
