The RCF NX 12-SMA is a high-performance active stage monitor designed for musicians, singers, DJs, and sound engineers who demand powerful, accurate, and reliable monitoring. Thanks to its coaxial design (integrated 12? woofer and high-frequency driver), the speaker delivers exceptional sonic coherence with a controlled 60° x 60° dispersion pattern, ideal for versatile and easy-to-position stage monitoring.
Featuring bi-amplified digital amplification delivering 700W RMS / 1400W Peak, the NX 12-SMA combines high sound pressure levels, dynamics, and clarity. The neodymium high-frequency driver and 12? woofer ensure solid bass, present midrange, and accurate vocal reproduction—essential for live applications.
The chassis is constructed from Baltic birch plywood, a robust material renowned for its lightness and touring durability. The reinforced black paint finish protects the speaker from impacts and wear. Its side handle and 35 mm pole mount allow for use both on the floor (stage monitor) and on a stand as a main speaker in smaller setups.
Two EQ modes are available:
Floor – optimized for floor placement as a stage monitor,
Free Field – for use as a front-of-house or mobile sound reinforcement speaker.
The NX 12-SMA is therefore an extremely versatile professional solution, capable of adapting to live stages, mobile installations, and DJ sets requiring high power, excellent clarity, and robustness.
