Introducing the MKE 400, an on-camera shotgun microphone that combines portability and performance, and sheds a whole new light on the way we capture sound for our videos. Items that have traditionally been accessories, such as a windscreen and shock mount, are now fully integrated and perform better than ever, freeing up space in your gear bag and on your camera itself. And that's not all: a low-cut filter
A low-cut filter and 3-step gain sensitivity selector allow you to fine-tune the sound while shooting, while a headphone output with volume control allows you to control the sound. Finally, the MKE 400's supercardioid polar pattern and interference tube help to reject unwanted background noise and ensure that recordings are as clean as possible, improving the presence and clarity of dialogue.
In addition to the microphone's own features, a furry windscreen is included that fits over the built-in windscreen for maximum protection against wind. In addition, the included coiled cables with TRS and TRRS lockable 3.5 mm connectors secure the connection to the microphone and allow you to easily switch between your camera and phone.
