Soyuz microphones 013 FET-MAC-B

The Soyuz 013 FET-MAC-B is a matched stereo pair of small-diaphragm FET condenser microphones, supplied with a complete set of interchangeable cardioid, omnidirectional, and hypercardioid capsules.

Designed to offer precision, versatility, and musical character, the 013 series combines excellent transient response with a warm, natural sound signature. The microphones deliver smooth, detailed highs, precise mids, and balanced lows, allowing them to capture complex sources without excessive harshness.

Each microphone features a 25 mm gold-plated diaphragm capsule. The FET version stands out for its exceptionally fast transient response, making it ideal for acoustic instruments, percussion, and any sources requiring precision and definition.

Thanks to their matched pair design, the two microphones are perfectly suited for stereo recording, particularly in XY, ORTF, or AB configurations. They are particularly well-suited for drum overheads, acoustic guitars, pianos, vocal ensembles, strings, and orchestras.

The main advantage of the MAC version lies in its interchangeable capsules. In addition to the cardioid capsules, the pair comes with two omnidirectional capsules and two hypercardioid capsules. This allows you to adapt the microphones’ polar patterns to the sound source, the room acoustics, or the recording technique being used.

With a maximum SPL of 143 dB, the 013 FETs can also record loud sources. Two -10 dB in-line attenuators are included to further enhance their versatility.

This B version features a black finish and comes with all capsule options, two microphone clips, two -10 dB attenuators, and a wooden case.
