Tascam Mixcast 4
The Tascam Mixcast 4 is a podcast recording station.
The Mixcast 4 makes it easy to create professional content. For podcast creation, live streaming, event production or voiceovers, the Mixcast allows you to mix and record microphone inputs with background music, sound effects and jingles played internally and triggered by pads, and with an external audio input signal from your phone, PC or Bluetooth device.
From recording audio to mixing recorded sounds, the Mixcast 4 provides a complete production environment with many convenient features, such as 14-track direct recording to the unit's SD card, Bluetooth audio input, an Aux input connector for easily mixing and recording phone conversations (with N-1 feedback) or other sound sources, and PC connectivity for importing sounds from a computer to the unit.
The Mixcast 4 features eight fully customisable light-up pads, each with eight banks, for triggering live sounds during podcast production or live broadcasting. In addition to the supplied pre-assigned sound effects, the user can freely assign new sounds, music or even sounds captured with the microphone and previously recorded on the device.
The Tascam Podcast Editor software provides simple and convenient editing of your audio content, track arming, and easy setup and assignment of sound effects and background music to pads.
