Thorens TD 202 NOIR

The Thorens TD 202 turntable is easy to use for everyday use. It features a belt-driven system with a DC motor that allows the platter to rotate at speeds of 33.5 and 45 rpm, with a variation of +/- 2%. You can select the speed via a switch located on the front of the turntable, on the left side. The platter has a diameter of 30 cm and is made of die-cast aluminum.

The superior audio quality of a built-in line-level phono preamp
It features a phono preamp integrated into its chassis, allowing it to be connected to the line-level input of a stereo amplifier, a hi-fi system, or even to a pair of wireless speakers that don't have a phono input. The phono preamp can be deactivated, allowing you to connect it to the phono input of a stereo amplifier or use an external phono preamp if desired.

Pure, noise-free sound thanks to the aluminum tonearm
The TD 202 is equipped with a new lightweight aluminum tonearm that dampens vibrations. The statically balanced straight tonearm ensures excellent groove tracking and noise-free sound reproduction. It also features a graduated anti-skating adjustment at the base of the pivot and a headshell compatible with all standard 1/2" phono cartridges weighing between 3.5 and 6 grams.

Start listening to your vinyl with the Audio-Technica AT95E cartridge
Supplied with a factory-mounted and adjusted Audio-Technica AT 95E phono cartridge. This moving magnet (MM) cartridge features an elliptical stylus, allowing you to start listening to your vinyl records quickly once the turntable is integrated into your system. Of course, it's possible to replace the Audio-Technica AT95E cartridge with another phono cartridge compatible with the 1/2" mounting system.

Digitize your vinyl records on a Mac or PC computer
Using digitizing software such as Audacity, you can digitize your vinyl records while correcting minor defects and adjusting levels. The Thorens TD-202 turntable offers a carefully designed design, with a built-in phono preamp, a USB output, and a pre-mounted cartridge. It's an excellent opportunity to easily and efficiently enjoy the warm sound of vinyl records.
