Udo audio RBN-1

The RBN-1 is an innovative sound modulation method, with adaptive behavior that allows the pitch of notes to be changed by several octaves relative to the original note played. Vibrato effects and fine pitch modulation are also available, giving you precise sound control.

The RBN-1 works with any device with an expression input and is not limited to a UDO Audio synthesizer. Connection is via a 3.5mm or 6.35mm TRS jack. Used with Super 6 and Super 8, the ribbon uses UDO's intelligent and musical pitch expression method, modifying only the held note(s) without affecting the sustained sounds or reverb tails.

With the separately available RBN-1-C 6hp Eurorack module, the ribbon controller can also be used to control a modular synthesizer. It offers the user two CV/Gate outputs and other features.
