Adam A7V + Sound ID Reference - Enceintes et casque + Micro
Sound ID Reference - Speakers & Headphones + Mic
Speaker and headphone calibration software that delivers consistently accurate studio reference sound.
In less than 20 minutes, you can calibrate your existing studio speakers using a measurement microphone (buy from us or use your own).
measurement microphone (buy from us or use your own) and calibrate your headphones
You can also calibrate your existing headphones using over 280 headphone calibration profiles already included in the software as ready-to-use presets. With a calibration profile applied, the software sets the frequency response to be completely flat across all audible frequencies, giving you the confidence that every mix will translate. You can also make custom adjustments to the target curve in real time with the new Custom Target feature.
With precise studio reference sound, you can seamlessly move from speaker to speaker, headphone to headphone, and room to room. Finally, you can mix with confidence and make music that sounds great anywhere.
ADAM A7V - THE ROOM
The A-Series A7V represents the evolution of ADAM Audio’s best-selling and award-winning A7X. The A7V is a two-way loudspeaker that combines a new 7-inch Multi-Layer Mineral (MLM) woofer with ADAM Audio’s precision hand-crafted X-ART tweeter to produce a wide frequency range from 41 Hz to 50 kHz. The pivoting HPS waveguide and onboard DSP tuning options allow you to optimize the A7V’s sound to your preferences and listening conditions. For many artists, sound engineers and producers, the A7V will be the ideal model in the A Series.
HPS Pivoting Waveguide & X-ART Tweeter
ADAM Audio’s HPS (High-Frequency Propagation System) waveguide technology allows for a more even projection of sound, wide horizontally but narrower vertically. The A Series introduces a pivoting HPS waveguide. You can rotate the A Series tweeters 90 degrees, while still enjoying the HPS waveguide technology whether you install your speakers vertically or horizontally.
The A Series’ HPS waveguide is made from a new glass-fiber polymer compound, which helps create a clean sound without any unwanted resonance. ADAM Audio’s X-ART tweeter sits at the center of the pivoting HPS waveguide. Handcrafted in Germany, the X-ART tweeter delivers precise transient response and reproduces the finest sonic details. This X-ART tweeter is used in every A-Series speaker to deliver precise sound across all models in the range.
Multi-Layer Mineral Fiber Woofer
The A-Series woofers are made from a specific blend of mineral rock fibers that are fired together to create a lightweight yet extremely stable material. The mineral composition, stacking, and geometry of each cone is specific to the speaker used in each model. By combining this material with the new magnet system, the A-Series woofers produce high output with very little distortion for crisp bass.
Hybrid Amplification
The A-Series combines the best of both the digital and analog worlds. The woofers are powered by Class-D amplifiers, which help deliver linear performance while reducing distortion. These amplifiers were specifically chosen for their power and efficiency, both in terms of power consumption and sound reproduction. Less heat dissipation allows for a smaller heat sink, making it easier to invest further in the exceptional power and performance of the A Series models.
The tweeters and midrange drivers are powered by Class AB amplifiers, which reproduce high frequencies smoothly and naturally. Each amplifier is optimized for its operating range. The result is a finely tuned and correctly aligned speaker. To achieve this, ADAM Audio conducted numerous measurements and listening sessions, testing countless amplifiers and amplification components.
