The EARTHQUAKER DEVICES Bellows Legacy Reissue Fuzz Driver pedal is a minimalist distortion pedal with just two knobs, yet it has a very distinct character. It sits at the crossroads between the organic, warm tone of a Tweed-style tube amp pushed to its limits and the crisp distortion of a fuzz pedal.
Inspired by the volume control of an amp without a Master Volume, the Drive knob lets you adjust the intensity with which the signal hits the input stage.
At low settings, the sound is open and grainy. The saturation is warm, evolving gradually just like on a tube amp.
As you turn up the Drive, you’ll gradually explore a wide range of lively saturation nuances, eventually reaching a wall of fuzz at maximum.
