Zoom H2 essential
Equipped with multiple microphones, the H2essential adapts to every situation thanks to its simple and clear controls. Choose the ideal directionality (mono, 90º or 120º stereo), select front or rear recording: you’re ready to go! The H2essential offers 360° surround sound recording and allows you to record in MS Raw format if you want to adjust the stereo image width during post-production.
The H2essential records in 32-bit floating point up to 96 kHz, delivering high-quality sound without having to adjust the gain. Connected to your PC, Mac, iOS, or Android smartphone, it can serve as a USB microphone for your podcasts, videos, and live streams while simultaneously recording to the SD card.
Its color LCD screen displays the recorded waveforms in real-time and allows for easy navigation through menus localized in French. Visually impaired creators can benefit from audio navigation, also in French.

The H2essential is equipped with a 3.5 mm mini-jack input that accepts external devices and lavalier microphones (PiP power provided). Optionally, the BTA-1 Bluetooth adapter allows remote control from your iOS smartphone as well as Timecode synchronization of one or more H2essential units.
The optional APH-2e accessory pack includes a newly designed windscreen specifically for the H2essential, allowing access to the controls.
